Bamboo DNA was founded by artist and New York City native Gerard Minakawa, who found himself searching in vain for unique, high-performance bamboos with which he could build some of the largest sculptures in the U.S. As a direct result of this need, the company is first and foremost a supplier of high-quality and hard-to-find bamboo building materials, backed up by the accumulated knowledge of an owner with many years of experience + the combined talents of the professionals he collaborates with. |

The Natural Builders are a design, build, and consultation construction company based in the East Bay (San Francisco Bay, CA). Marisha Farnsworth and Kevin Rowell founded the company in 2005 after working in the natural building and sustainable development movement in the U.S. and abroad.
